Major Engine Repair
Timing chains, tensioners, phasers, water pumps — the internal work most shops send out.
Most repair shops will not open an engine. If the job means pulling the front cover or dropping the pan, it gets handed to a specialist somewhere else — and you wait longer and pay twice. H&R does that work in this building.
Timing chains and tensioners, camshaft phasers, crankshaft and cam gears, water pumps, oil pump and seal work, head gaskets. Recent jobs off this floor: a Honda Odyssey J35 stripped down for a timing job and an oil pump seal, an E60 twin-turbo pulled for access, cylinder heads off with the bores open.
Full rebuilds too, when an engine is far enough gone that a rebuild is the honest answer. But most of what comes through here is major repair — fixing the engine you already have instead of selling you a different one.
